About the Series / Levels
Ofarim Let’s Read is a short story series suitable for English as a Foreign Language [EFL] students in elementary school. The series contains 4 levels: A, B, C, D.
Each level consists of six books of varying degrees of difficulty. Each story includes keywords translated into Hebrew, reading comprehension questions, and fun activities.
Each book has 16 pages with spectacular color illustrations.
Level C books are written mostly in the present tense, with an initial introduction of the past tense and a focus on new vocabulary. They are suitable for confident foundation level readers, topics in this level include fables, food, animals and personal traits. Grammar structures include present simple and present progressive, with an introduction to past simple and future simple.
Level D books include stories, written mostly in the past tense, with a focus on new vocabulary. This level is suitable for skilled, confident readers in preparation for junior high school. Topics in this level include fables and fairy tales from all over the world! Grammar structures include past simple, past progressive and future simple.
