The Flibets

The Flibets is a popular, contemporary series for kindergarten children used in many different countries around the world. The series is suitable for all young children learning English as a foreign language, including native Hebrew and Arabic speakers.

The Flibets is based on the imaginary world of Zac and his friends and includes fascinating stories and stimulating activities. This series provides full support to teachers and creates a fun learning environment. There are CLICL lessons that integrate familiar concepts from various subject areas such as art, science, and math (at kindergarten level). There are also lessons that develop social interaction between pupils.

The series includes three levels (Starter, Level 1, Level 2), and is suitable for children age 3–6. There are several different components for students and teachers for each level:

For students: Pupil’s Book (which includes stickers ), Activity Book, and a unique application for home study and review

For teachers: Teacher’s Guide (which includes goals, detailed instruction, and additional pages for photocopying), Puppet, Picture Flashcards, Story Cards, Wall Posters, Magnetic Indicators, Ink Stamp, Reward Stickers, and a Big Story Book for each level

There is also a Flibets website with games and many more enrichment activities for teachers and parents.

The Flibets הינה סידרה פופולרית ועדכנית לילדי הגן הנמצאת בשימוש נרחב במספר רב של מדינות. הסידרה מיועדת לכלל לומדי האנגלית כשפה זרה ולכן מתאימה גם לדוברי עברית וערבית.

The Flibets מבוססת על עולמם הדמיוני של Zac וחבריו וכוללת סיפורים מרתקים ופעילויות מעניינות. סידרה זו מספקת תמיכה מלאה למורה וגורמת ללמידה בכיף. ישנם שיעורי CLIL שעוזרים לתלמידים להתקדם בשפה דרך מושגים מוכרים מתחומי למידה שונים כגון אומנות, מדע וחשבון (ברמת הגן). כמו כן, ישנם שיעורי ערכים שמפתחים כישורים חברתיים ובין-אישיים של התלמידים.

הסידרה בנויה ב-3 רמות: Starter, Level 1, Level 2 ומיועדת לגילאים 3-6. לכל רמה יש מספר רכיבים לתלמיד ומספר רכיבים לגננת, כדלהלן:

לתלמיד: ספר לתלמיד (חוברת לתלמיד הכוללת מדבקות), חוברת עבודה, אפליקציה ייעודית ללמידה וחזרה ביתית

לגננת: מדריך למורה (הכולל מטרות, הדרכה מפורטת, דפים נוספים לצילום), בובה, כרטיסי הברקה, כרטיסי סיפורים, פוסטרים, מגנטים, חותמת דיו, מדבקות פרס לתלמידים, ספרים גדולים (ספר גדול אחד לכל רמה)
