Daisy is Ill – Macmillan Explorers Phonics Reader (Level 1)

In the first story, Daisy the Dinosaur is ill. Mum and Canny try to make her feel better. In the second story, Daisy play with their friends in the pool, but there is a problem.

The phonic focus includes double consonants -ll (e.g. ill), and -ss (e.g. kiss), and consonant blends -ck  (e.g. duck), -ng  (e.g. sing).
