About the Series / Levels
Ladybird Readers is a series of traditional tales, modern stories, and non-fiction. It runs from Level 0 (Beginners) through Level 6.
The Starter level (Level 1) helps children further and practice their reading and understanding skills in English.
The books at Starter level are short (approximately 100-200 words) with 1-2 sentences per page and bright and colorful pictures.
Each book has a picture dictionary at the beginning of the book and about 20 pages of activities and a song after the story!
