Speaking Activities – Scholastic Timesavers

Speaking Activities is a collection of 60 fun speaking activities for pre-intermediate to advanced students (junior high and high school students), including pairwork, groupwork, and class activities, with a wide variety of topics and tasks, e.g., talking about yourself, listing advantages and disadvantages, giving advice, etc. Activities include role plays, dialogues, discussions and speaking games, focusing on specific language areas as well as general communication.

Each photocopiable page shows the length of time the activity will take as well as how many students it’s for. The table of contents details the topic, targeted language, and level of each activity. (The majority of the activities are for intermediate students.)
