Proposition Island invites you to identify the characters and objects in the illustration so as to review prepositions – in front of, behind, next to, between, under, on, inside, above.
The game can be played individually or in teams. Players sit around the board and look at the illustration. They take turns picking up cards with sentence completions – after picking up a card, the student / team needs to locate the person the sentence is about on the board and then say the sentence with the correct preposition. If the answer is correct, the student / team gets a gold coin. The winner is the player / team with the most gold coins at the end of the game.
Some additional ideas for using this game are presented in the instruction booklet.
For 2-8 players.

• an illustrated playing board pirates on an island; the back of the board shows all the prepositions reviewed in the game.
• 58 playing cards;
• 8 cards with the prepositions of place;
• 60 gold coins;
• a teacher’s booklet.
