Twelve Angry Men (Studio One) DVD

This is the ORIGINAL television drama of Twelve Angry Men, produced in 1954 and winning three Emmy awards. It was later adapted into the longer film version starring Henry Fonda.

Since it it is almost identical to the screenplay in our book Twelve Angry Men, this is recommended for teachers who want to show students each act of the film after they have taught that act (preferably after students have done all the questions for that act). The sound track can also be used for students, needing to listen to the text while reading.

Note that the DVD also includes another one of Reginald Rose’s screenplays, “An Almanac of Liberty.”
